Dr S. Vikneswaran, a passionate Public Health Medicine Specialist who has borderless vision. A former Royal Military College student, he obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2008, Master of Business Administration – Healthcare Management (MBA Healthcare) in 2014, Master of Public Health (MPH) in 2014, Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) in 2017 and Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) in 2018. Currently he is completing his fellowship in diabetic foot management from India. Upon completion of his training at Penang General Hospital & Bukit Mertajam Hospital, he was appointed as a Senior Assistant Director of Communicable Disease Control Unit Penang State Health Department subsequently a brief stint at Sepang District Health Department before being appointed as the Senior Principal Assistant Director, Malaysia National Health Account, Planning Division, Ministry of Health of Malaysia.
Upholding the principal ‘Serve To Lead,’ Dr S.Vikneswaran has been very active in community health and non-governmental organization related activities. Part of his achievement includes being awarded ‘Hidayasu Oyama Award 2018’ for being the Overall University Kebangsaan Malaysia Best Student of Public Health, honoured by the Malaysian Book of Records for his public-private collaborative effort on Women Cancer Screening, awarded for ‘Best Scientific Paper’ & ‘Best Speaker’ twice in International Public Health Conferences, year 2016 and 2017 respectively, appointed as International Bridge Club President – Malaysia Chapter in 2018 and also appointed as Honourable Ass. Secretary of Malaysia Association for Adolescent Health (MAAH) in 2018 as well.
A former research intern at Murdoc Child Research Institute, The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Australia, his current research work is on ‘Bullying Among the Malaysian Adolescents.’ Apart from presenting his papers on bullying at various conferences, Dr S.Vikneswaran has been recently appointed by the Penang State Government as the Chairman of Penang State Anti-Bullying Committee. Moreover, he also was invited as guest speaker and event moderator on issues related to adolescents at numerous local and international events. With vast experiences and great leadership quality from Dr S.Vikneswaran, it will certainly contribute to the development and expansion of our company in achieving its vision and mission.
